Industrial Age Mod – Objects and Furniture Mod adds a selection of furniture, lighting, appliances, and resources inspired by the late 1800s and early 1900s. This update re-releases the mod using only Asset Bundles to take advantage of RimWorld 1.6’s improved support while avoiding a much larger file size.

Industrial Age Mod – Objects and Furniture Mod expands your colony with themed industrial-era objects and utilities that fit lower-tech or transitional playthroughs.
- Refrigerator: Stores meals and keeps them frozen.
- Telegraph: Lets colonists use a communicator at an earlier tech level.
- Gramophone: Plays music for your industrial-era colonists.
- Wood Stove Furnace: Provides heat and allows cooking without electricity.
- Candelabra: Adds decorative period lighting.
- Chandelier: Adds industrial-era interior lighting.
- Grand chandelier: Adds a larger decorative lighting option.
- Street Gas Lamp: Adds outdoor period lighting.
- Interior Gas Lamp: Adds indoor gas lighting.
- Tesla arc lamp: Adds an electric industrial-era lamp.
- Edison lamp: Adds another themed electric light source.
- Edison tube: Adds an additional industrial lighting option.
- Wax resource: Adds wax, which can be obtained from meat at cooking tables.
- Wax patch: Includes a wax-related patch based on crec4ets’ mod.
- Throneroom support: Makes the royal chandelier suitable for thronerooms, via SoongJr.
Books and bookcases have been moved to RimWriter Mod.
Compatibility notes
Industrial Age Mod – Objects and Furniture Mod was re-released for RimWorld 1.6 using only Asset Bundles, taking advantage of the game’s improved Asset Bundle support and avoiding a much larger mod size. The previous version of this mod is available separately.
When troubleshooting the Industrial Age Mod – Objects and Furniture Mod:
- See if the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
- Always post your log using the Log Uploader.
- For best support, please use the Discord-channel for error-reporting.
- Do not report errors by making a discussion-thread, I get no notification of that.
- If you have the solution for a problem, please post it to the GitHub repository.
- Use RimSort to sort your mods.
