The [XND] Nocturnal Animals Mod enhances immersion by giving animals realistic circadian rhythms, so their activity patterns better reflect real-world behavior.
[XND] Nocturnal Animals Features
The [XND] Nocturnal Animals Mod introduces multiple body clock types for animals, adding variety and realism to colony life.
Circadian rhythm types
- Diurnal: Animals are awake during the day and sleep at night (vanilla default behavior).
- Nocturnal: Animals are awake at night and sleep during the day.
- Crepuscular: Animals are active during mornings and evenings, resting during midday and deep night.
- Cathemeral: Flexible activity pattern for animals that do not fit into the other categories.
You can view an animal’s body clock type directly in its info card.
