Vanilla Textures Expanded – Save Our Ship 2 Features

This mod fully retextures Save Our Ship 2, including:

• Structures, furniture, and workbenches.
• Walls, floors, and roofs.
• Armor and apparel.
• Projectiles and filth textures.

The goal is to make SoS2 visually blend seamlessly with Vanilla Expanded mods. The retexture was created in close cooperation with the SoS2 team.

This is a texture pack and requires Save Our Ship 2 to be installed and loaded before this mod.

FAQ

• Is it CE compatible? Yes. It is purely a texture pack.
• Is there a performance impact? No. Textures do not meaningfully affect FPS.
• Can I disable individual textures? Not easily. Many drawSizes were adjusted for consistency.
• Is it save compatible? It should be.
• Why retexture SoS2? To bring it closer to the Vanilla Expanded style and improve visual cohesion.

Compatibility notes

• Requires Save Our Ship 2 (must be loaded before this mod).
• Should be compatible with everything unless you use another SoS2 retexture.
• If a bug appears without this retexture, it is a Save Our Ship 2 issue.
• 1.4 and 1.5 update by Sam_Bucher and Buns Buns Cat.
