Vanilla Factions Expanded – Classical Mod

Author of the Vanilla Factions Expanded – Classical Mod: Oskar Potoki

Vanilla Factions Expanded – Classical Mod introduces a powerful new faction: the Republic, divided into three rival subfactions. Through a mission chain, you can win the favor of individual senators, gaining political influence, new technologies, tributes, unique weapons, structures and perks. FAQ

Can I still unlock the new technologies without doing quests for the factions?
Yes.

Are the perks unlocked via senators permanent?
Not until you have gained the support of all senators. Losing senators disables the perks.

Will Neron Neolithic lock the technology to Neolithic only?
Yes. Higher-era technologies will not be researchable. This is a soft lock and does not remove loot, mechanoids or quest rewards.

Can I access the senator screen without travelling to their settlements?
Yes, via the factions tab.

What happens if I have Vanilla Outposts Expanded active?
The mods work together. Overlapping outposts are removed to prevent duplicates.

Is this mod compatible with Combat Extended?
Yes.

Can I disable some aspects of the mod?
No. Use Cherry Picker if you want to remove specific parts.

Do I need the base module for it to work?
All faction mods require Vanilla Expanded Framework Mod.

Does this mod work with other mods?
Yes, all systems are fully modular.

Is this mod save-game compatible?
Yes. As always, you cannot safely remove mods mid-save, so make backups.

Can I enjoy this mod without using the storyteller or starting scenario?
Yes. You can trade, fight or unite the republics regardless of starting scenario.

I don’t see the buttons for interacting with senators. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure you right-click the settlement while your caravan is selected. Opening from the factions screen will not show senator options.
