Tucked Furniture Mod lets you fit furniture closer to walls, slide chairs under tables and adjust path costs to make better use of tight spaces.
Tucked Furniture Mod Features
Furniture can be offset in any direction. Chairs and other supported furniture can tuck under tables and pull out automatically, with path costs moving along with them. Responsive gizmos control the placement and can be hidden.
Furniture can also be visually shrunk to fit tight spaces or prevent Z-fighting; this size adjustment is decorative.
- Chairs.
- Tables.
- Beds.
- 3×1 workstations.
- Thrones.
- Braziers.
- Standing lamps.
- Flower pots.
- Storage buildings.
- Columns.
Mod settings control the overall offset cap and how much offset is needed to reduce path costs to zero. The system uses RimWorld’s existing path-cost and automatic untucking functions.

Compatibility notes
Can be added to and removed from an existing save. Works with thin-wall mods and includes patches for Dubs Bad Hygiene, Neat Storage and Sense of Depth.
Incompatible with Perspective: Buildings, which changes the same furniture placement behavior. Excessive offsets can cause clipping. Cheesing the system to maximize path clearance is discouraged as it will look hideous. But I also believe in freedom of choice, so you do you.
