The The Witcher Trials Mod allows you to research and perform the legendary Witcher trials on your pawns, granting powerful mutations at great risk. These procedures can significantly unbalance vanilla pawns and failed Trials of the Grasses may result in death, so save your game first.
The Witcher Trials Features
The The Witcher Trials Mod introduces research projects and sequential operations inspired by the Witcher universe.
Researchable trials
- The Trial of the Grasses: The first trial. The body is manipulated with herbs, toxins, and poisons, primarily affecting the nervous system.
- The Trial of the Dreams: The second trial. Involves mutation of the eyes, hormones, and bone marrow.
- The Trial of the Elders: The final trial. Forgotten practices once performed on witchers can be rediscovered, at a cost.

Common questions
- Compatibility?: The mod primarily adds content and is unlikely to cause conflicts.
- Safe for running saves?: Yes. Uninstalling requires manual cleanup.
- Why does the previous Trial disappear?: Only one Trial can be active at a time for balance reasons.
- My hair is not white?: Keep going.
- Costs and research feel high?: Witchers are intentionally overpowered. Think of them as stacking multiple bionics.
