Light Radius Mod adds dynamic display radii to light sources, showing which areas will be considered lit when placing or selecting lamps.
Light Radius Mod Features
The Light Radius Mod displays an indicator around light sources when they are selected or being placed. This helps show which area will count as lit by the game.
- Show inner light radius: Shows a radius that roughly matches the area considered “lit”, meaning over 30% light.
- Show outer light radius: Shows a radius that roughly matches the area affected by the lamp at all, meaning anything above 0% light.
The radii are not perfect because the actual light and the display radius use different calculations, but they match relatively well.
The Light Radius Mod dynamically generates display radii, so it automatically supports basically any modded light source.
Note: the colorful light overlay shown in the images is from a different mod. The Light Radius Mod only shows a radius when placing lights and when selecting them, even if they are turned off.
Compatibility notes
The Light Radius Mod is safe to add to existing savegames and safe to remove.
- Adding: Safe.
- Removing: Safe.
Wall Light is incompatible with the Light Radius Mod display radius. Use the setting from Wall Light itself instead.
