mlieStoryteller Enhanced Mod expands RimWorld’s gameplay with new storytellers and additional difficulty options designed to create unique and more varied challenges. These storytellers introduce more complex threat cycles and event patterns, offering a wider range of experiences compared to the standard vanilla storytellers.
Storyteller Enhanced Features
New difficulties
- Murderous: A brutal difficulty where enemies are plentiful, colonists are more unstable, and prices are worse. Designed for players who enjoy overwhelming challenges and constant danger.
- Post-Apocalyptic: Resources are scarce while enemies are numerous and eager to steal what little food remains. Focuses on survival in a devastated world rather than simply increasing raid sizes.
- Spoiled Life: Colonists are accustomed to glitterworld luxury. They require more recreation, have less motivation to work, and are harder to keep happy, creating a colony management challenge.
New storytellers
- Calista Complex: Generates events on a complex schedule, testing how players handle a wide range of situations and surprises.
- Raya Relaxed: Focuses on a calmer gameplay experience, occasionally adding positive or light events to spice up the story.
- Matt Moody: Provides balanced gameplay most of the time, but occasionally unleashes intense periods of difficulty during his mood swings.
- Nora Nothing: Does not trigger incidents and simply observes the colony, allowing players to shape their own story or play in isolation.
Gameplay changes
- More frequent events: The new storytellers generally generate more events than their vanilla counterparts.
- Complex threat cycles: Event timing and threats follow more varied patterns, making gameplay less predictable.
- Higher baseline challenge: Because events occur more frequently, players may want to choose a difficulty level slightly lower than usual when using these storytellers.
Compatibility notes
When troubleshooting the Storyteller Enhanced Mod:
- See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
