Storage Crates Mod

Storage Crates Mod introduces a compact storage system that allows players to package large quantities of resources into stackable crates. By converting full stacks of materials into crates, colonies can store massive amounts of resources in a very small space, making stockpiles cleaner and more efficient.

Storage Crates Features

Compact resource storage

• Resource crates: Convert a full stack of resources and crate plates into a single crate that can be stored like any other item.
• High-density stacking: Crates stack up to 75, allowing up to 5625 units of most resources to be stored on a single tile.
• Special currency stacks: Gold and silver crates use larger input stacks (500 units).
• Dedicated packing benches: Each crate type has a bench used to assemble the crates, with a toggle option to switch modes.

Crate production process

• Steel crate plates: Crafted from raw resources at the machining table.
• Crate assembly: Six steel crate plates combined with a full stack of a resource at the packing bench produce a crate.
• Stackable storage: Finished crates can be stored in stockpiles and stacked like regular items.

Food preservation system

• Meal cans: Meat or vegetables can be processed into canned meals that do not spoil.
• Canned storage: Canned meals can also be packed into crates for additional storage efficiency.
• Processed meat: Raw meat can be converted into processed meat for easier crate storage.

Compatibility notes

• Save compatibility: Some updates removed items which may affect older saves. Loading, saving, and reloading the game may resolve most issues, though removed crates will be lost.
• Workshop sync issues: If recipes or dismantling returns behave incorrectly, it may be caused by a Steam Workshop synchronization problem.
• Manual reinstall: Unsubscribe from the mod, delete folder “756216922” in Steam’s workshop directory for RimWorld, and then resubscribe to redownload the files.
• Languages: Includes Russian translation.

• See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
