mlieSpidercamp’s Horses Mod adds more horse variety to RimWorld, keeping the familiar Spidercamp horse style while giving different horses varied stats such as strength, speed, and food consumption. Since horses are now part of the vanilla game, this mod does not replace them, but instead treats the vanilla horse as the lowest-level horse and expands the available equine options.
Spidercamp’s Horses Mod Features
Spidercamp’s Horses Mod brings additional horses to the rim. Horses make excellent companions in the unforgiving wilderness, as they are fast enough to move across the map in time to rescue or protect their master.
- Horses are fast and strong fighters.
- Horses are no longer beautiful because Tynan hates pretty things and removed this XML option for pawns.
- All horses have advanced trainable intelligence.
- The horses in this mod have different stats from vanilla horses, including strength, speed, and food consumption.
- The original Spidercamp horse skin has been preserved.
Optional features
Spidercamp’s Horses Mod is patched for Giddy-up Core Mod and Giddy-up Combat Mod, allowing horses to be used for caravans and as battle mounts.
Compatibility notes
Spidercamp’s Horses Mod includes an updated version of the Combat Extended Mod patch by rebelscum. Combat Extended Mod patches are now included in the main Combat Extended Mod instead.
Because horses are now part of vanilla RimWorld, any bugs that exist in the vanilla version may also carry over to this mod. Before reporting a bug, test with only Spidercamp’s Horses Mod enabled to check whether the issue can be reproduced without other mods.
Older B18 and B19 files were previously available separately.
