mlieSlag Refined Plus Mod expands slag chunk smelting by adding new refining options, increasing material yields, and reducing the work required, making long-term resource management more viable without becoming overpowered.
Slag Refined Plus Mod Features
- Vanilla-based rebalance: Values have been adjusted to better reflect vanilla balance.
- Faster smelting: All four recipes now use a work amount of 1600.
- Steel chunk recipe: Produces 15 steel with no components required.
- Plasteel chunk recipe: Produces 15 plasteel with no components required.
- Silver chunk recipe: Produces 5 steel and 50 silver with no components required.
- Gold chunk recipe: Produces 5 steel and 50 gold with no components required.
- Expanded slag processing: Adds more ways to extract useful resources from slag chunks.
- Endless-game support: Helps make late-game colonies more sustainable without relying on excessive or unrealistic resource generation.
- New slag types: Includes Sterile Slag, Luxury Slag, and Plasteel Slag as additional refining outcomes.
- Slag Debris event: Adds a new event that can drop slag from the sky.
Compatibility notes
- Save compatibility: The mod should not break saves, but existing slag smelting bills in a smelter must be removed and added again.
- Incompatible mods: Do not use this mod together with Slag Refined Mod, since its functionality has already been incorporated here.
- Possible conflicts: Other mods that edit Steel Slag or smelting bills may conflict with Slag Refined Plus Mod.
- Load order: Place Slag Refined Plus Mod last in your mod list if slag is not smelting correctly or if the output values are wrong.
- Stability note: The mod is considered stable, but some issues may still exist.
