mlieThe Show Me Your Hands Mod allows pawns to display their hands on their weapons when drafted. It supports most vanilla and modded weapons.
This mod is based on the Clutter Weapon Hands mod, but dynamically adjusts hand positioning based on the graphics of the weapon. It still retains compatibility with older hand-definitions if they exist.
Show Me Your Hands Mod Features
- Dynamic hand positioning on weapons for drafted pawns.
- Supports most weapons, both vanilla and modded.
- Mod settings allow customization for individual weapons. These settings can be exported for use in other mods to add native support.
- All of my “Continued”-mods have native support.
Mod Settings
In the mod settings, you can customize:
- Coloring hands based on apparel or armor color.
- Coloring hands based on artificial limbs.
- Resizing hands based on the pawn’s bodysize (compatible with the Children mod).
- Repositioning hands based on weapon size (supports oversized weapons).
- Displaying hands when pawns carry items.
- Showing only one hand if the pawn is missing one.
- Showing hands at all times.
Compatibility notes
The mod supports the following mods:

- Yayo’s Animation
- RunAndGun
- Dual Wield
The mod has been verified to work with Combat Extended and shows hands when using Grab your Tool. It is also compatible with Melee Animation.

Troubleshooting
- See if the error persists with only this mod and its required dependencies active.
- If the error disappears, try adding other mods one by one until the issue reappears.
- Post your error log using HugsLib or the standalone Uploader with the command Ctrl+F12.
- For best support, use the Discord channel for error reporting.
- Do not report errors by creating a discussion thread, as I do not receive notifications for those.
