Spaceship Mod expands RimWorld’s endgame shipbuilding by adding a variety of new ship parts, mostly cosmetic, allowing you to design and launch your spaceship with more flexibility and style while still relying on core vanilla requirements.
Spaceship Features
- New ship parts: Adds wings, cockpit, engines, and structural fill parts in multiple sizes.
- Cosmetic enhancements: Most additions are visual, giving more freedom in ship design.
- Vanilla integration: Ships still require core vanilla components to function and launch.
- Improved building flexibility: Removes placement restrictions for certain ship elements.
- Texture replacement: Replaces vanilla ship textures with older versions.
Added parts
- Wings: 1×1 and 1×2 sizes.
- Fill parts: 1×1, 2×2, 2×3, and linkable ship beam.
- Cockpit: 1×2 cryptosleep-style casket with front interaction.
- Engine: 1×2 ship engine.
Gameplay details
- Your ship must still include vanilla essentials: engine, reactor, computer, and filled cryptosleep casket.
- At least one vanilla ship part is required to pass launch conditions.
- The ship beam is now linkable, similar to walls, with equivalent final cost.
- Cryocasket interaction spots are moved inside the object and no longer require placement on beams.
Research requirements
