Medic Addons Mod adds medical facilities that link to vanilla beds, improving immunity gain, treatment quality and surgery success chance through medieval, industrial and spacer-tier research.
Medic Addons Mod Features
- Adds medical facilities that can be linked to vanilla beds.
- Requires three research projects: medieval, industrial and spacer.
- Adds three medieval facilities, two industrial facilities and three spacer facilities.
- Uses the vanilla vitals monitor as the third industrial facility.
- Linked facilities only affect immunity gain speed and treatment quality.
- Facility bonuses are intentionally low, but they can still affect game balance.
- All medical facilities have a large link range, allowing them to be placed anywhere in the room instead of directly next to the bed.
What Medic Addons Mod does not change
- It does not change the game’s mechanics for treatment, illness or operations.
- It does not add any additional beds.
- It does not work with beds added by other mods unless compatibility is specifically included.

Research
- The three research projects cost 100, 200 and 300 research points at their corresponding tech levels.
- The medieval research project has no prerequisites.
- The industrial and spacer projects require the previous research project.
- The spacer facilities require the vanilla vitals monitor research.
- The industrial level requires a high-tech research bench.
- The spacer level requires a multi-analyzer.
Balance notes
The diseases and operations are balanced around the vanilla game. The bonuses from Medic Addons Mod are minor, but spacer-tier facilities can make diseases much less challenging.
Beds can potentially use multiple facilities at the same time and gain high stats. The same applies to the lamps, which have a small bright area of around three cells and may be useful with darkness or light-related mods that affect manipulation and surgery chance.
Compatibility notes
