With the Save Our Ship Mod any ship you launch is saved to a file. You can then start a new game using this ship to continue your colonists’ stories on another world! Research, player faction data, and pawn relationships are all carried over.

Save Our Ship Simplified Mod features

  • Zero performance impact.
  • Should work with pretty much every mod unless it changes ship countdown.
  • Launch a ship before landing one!
  • To land a ship choose a scenario, Scenario editor, edit mode, add part and click land ship.
  • There you can select which ship you want to land. Also delete all other parts like “start with”.
  • On landing ship’s core is destroyed so you will need an ai core to relaunch

Compatibility notes

IF YOU CHANGE THE MOD LIST MAKE SURE TO DISABLE SAVE-TECH AND SAVE-DRUGS FROM MOD SETTINGS BEFORE LANDING.

This mod is compatible with existing saves, it does not require you to start a new game.
