The Roof Overlay Options Mod improves the roof overlay by making constructed roofs, natural roofs, and overhead mountain tiles easier to distinguish, with configurable colors, opacity, and a preview for the selected overlay settings.
Roof Overlay Options Mod Features

Available settings
- Yellow constructed roof in roof overlay: Uses a yellow-ish color for constructed, non-natural roofs in the roof overlay. Enabled by default.
- Red overhead mountain in roof overlay: Uses red instead of dark green for thick roof, also known as overhead mountain, in the roof overlay. Enabled by default.
Compatibility notes
The Roof Overlay Options Mod can be safely added to or removed from any save.
The Roof Overlay Options Mod should be compatible with most mods, unless another mod also changes roof overlay colors.
Use the Bug Cracks Mod to alter visuals under overhead mountains so cracks are always displayed.
When troubleshooting the Roof Overlay Options Mod:
- See if the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
