FAQ

Does this require a new save or world? No.
Can I suggest new upgrades? Yes! See the empty spaces in the research tree? Fill them.
How do I report a bug? Describe how it occurred, attach a screenshot, and back up your save — you may be asked for it.
Are detailed stats listed anywhere? They’re visible in the research screen within the game to ensure they stay up to date.
My items keep truncating, what do I do? Move Researchable Stat Upgrades higher in the mod list (thanks to Hinanawi-sama). If that doesn’t help, join the bug discussions!

Tips for making research ideas

  1. Does your idea really work as research? Maybe it fits better as an item or building.
  2. Think about an ideal cost and tech level for your research.
  3. Come up with a creative name!
  4. Decide where it fits in the research tree.
  5. Short but meaningful research ideas have a better chance of being included.

Developer notes

Announcement: 1.6 and the future of my projects
As of RimWorld 1.6, active support for the author’s mods has ended.

Life and time constraints make it difficult to maintain older projects. However, the source code is open to anyone who wants to continue development. The author welcomes others to take over, offering help via Discord for those interested.

“No Caves should continue to work regardless of base-game changes, unless Ludeon completely refactors map generation. Thanks for using my jank all this time — I truly appreciate your patience.”
– Kd

Anyone brave enough to pick up the project has full permission to do so.
