mlieRecovery Pod Mod adds a portable, self-contained transport pod designed for emergency use and caravan travel. After research, you can craft recovery pod kits that pack into a cargo bag, deploy them as fueled drop pods, and repack them when needed for easier transport.
Recovery Pod Mod Features
- Portable recovery pod kits: Craft recovery pod kits at a fabrication bench and carry them as cargo bags.
- Deployable transport pod: Build the pod from the bag as a miscellaneous structure for field use.
- Independent fueling: Fuel each pod individually without requiring a refueler.
- Reusable design: Deconstruct the pod back into a bag and repack it into a cargo bag at a crafting spot.
- Caravan utility: Designed to be practical for caravan transport and emergency situations.
- Weight tradeoff: Supports up to 100 kg total weight instead of the 150 kg allowed by standard drop pods.
- Prisoner transport note: Prisoners must still be captured before attempting to return them to bases.
