Prosthetic Combat Framework Mod expands RimWorld’s combat system by extending the vanilla hediff verb framework, allowing advanced ranged and melee attacks to be defined directly via XML.
Prosthetic Combat Framework Features
Prosthetic Combat Framework Mod is a framework designed primarily for modders, enabling advanced combat prostheses and hediff-based weapon systems without custom code.
- Advanced hediff verb support: Enables ranged verbs and custom melee attacks defined through XML.
- Independent attack controls: Custom melee attacks can have their own gizmo or command button.
- Simultaneous combat actions: Allows prosthetic-mounted weapons to fire independently while a pawn uses a handheld weapon.
- Custom UI support: Modders can define custom textures for command buttons.
- Framework-focused: Currently mainly used by the author’s own mods, but open for broader mod integration.
