Prepare For Combat Mod lets you tweak the values used by RimWorld’s threat calculation so raids and other threats scale the way you want. By default it matches vanilla behavior, but you can adjust how building wealth, item wealth, and animal combat power contribute, and optionally exclude pawns that are not capable of fighting.
Prepare For Combat Mod Features
- Building Wealth %: 0-200 (default: 100). Percentage of building wealth used.
- Item Wealth %: 0-200 (default: 100). Percentage of item wealth used.
- Animal Combat Power %: 0-200 (default: 100). Percentage of animal combat power used.
- Only include capable pawns: True/False (default: False). When enabled, only pawns capable of fighting are included in the threat calculation.
Capable pawn exclusions
- Pawns in a Cryptosleep Casket.
- Pawns with less than 15% moving capacity.
- Colonists incapable of violence.
- Animals not trained for release.
- Sick and injured pawns (except the exclusions above) are still calculated as in vanilla.
Notes
- All percentages are relative to vanilla default values (for example, vanilla building wealth is 50% and animal combat power is 8%), then modified by the mod settings.
- Values higher than 100% increase threat severity.
- Caravan threat calculations are not changed.
Compatibility notes
- Prepare For Combat Mod (1.4) removed the HugsLib requirement.
- Incompatible with Combat Readiness Check.
- If you encounter errors, try running Prepare For Combat Mod with only its requirements enabled, then add other mods back until the issue appears.
