The Perspective Buildings Mod is an update of Owlchemist’s mod, Hooded Capes and Armor, designed to allow players to adjust the position of most buildings. This adjustment feature can create more immersive perspectives by nudging buildings slightly or mirroring non-rotatable structures.
This mod was originally developed to support the Fencepost Lights added to Simple Utilities: Walls.
Perspective Buildings Mod Features
- Adds a gizmo to most buildings, enabling players to adjust the building’s position on the map.
- Allows mirroring of non-rotatable buildings.
Compatibility notes
Not compatible with Graphic Chair Overhaul (for chairs) due to its custom drawing routine.
Limitations
This mod is purely graphical and does not impact gameplay. It can be added or removed at any time. However, items placed on or near buildings (like meals on tables) currently do not align with the offset positions.
For Other Modders
Unless specified otherwise, buildings receive a set of standard offsets that the adjuster button cycles through. For custom offsets, refer to the documentation on GitHub.
