Pawns Paint! Restored Mod Features
Pawns Paint! Restored Mod is a variation and continuation of the original Pawns Paint! Mod by WillieLambo. The main difference is that this version changes the paintings to real-life public domain paintings.
- Colonist painting: Lets colonists build an easel and make paintings from cloth and wood.
- Beauty and joy: Paintings give beauty and let pawns look at them for joy.
- Randomized paintings: Paintings are randomized from a folder full of painting textures.
- Public domain artwork: This version uses real-life public domain paintings.
- Selectable Sculpture Graphic support: Adds support for Selectable Sculpture Graphic Mod.
- Trading tags: Adds trading tags.
- Wall-mounted paintings: Adds slightly smaller wall-mountable paintings.
- Wall painting rotation: Adds rotation support for wall-mountable paintings.
- Custom wall paintings: Includes a template for adding your own wall-mounted paintings, as well as two BIMP templates to automate the process using the BIMP plugin for GIMP.

Don’t like the paintings? Or want to add or remove some?
You can change them. They are located in the following folder on your hard drive:
Steam installation location\SteamApps\workshop\content\294100\2449797994\Textures\Things\Building\Art
If you’d like to make your own paintings, you can download templates that were made with paint.net and Photoshop. All of the paintings that get loaded into a game are located in your local “Painting” folder, so you can add or remove them there.
If you want Willie’s paintings back, download and unzip the file mentioned in the original description, delete the “Painting” folder on your computer, and paste the new “Painting” folder in its place.

Paintings give beauty and lets pawns look at them for joy.
This mod lets your colonists build an easel and make paintings from cloth and wood.
Colonists paint whatever they feel like, and sometimes it’s some weird *#@!.
The idea is that every painting is randomized from a folder full of paintings.
If you have any ideas for paintings or balancing suggestions, please let me know.

Compatibility notes
Templates are available for creating custom wall-mounted paintings.
The original Pawns Paint! Mod description notes that paintings were not rotatable, because random textures and rotation could not be made to work together at the time.
When troubleshooting Pawns Paint! Restored Mod:
- See if the error persists if you only have this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
- Always post your log using the Log Uploader.
- For best support, please use the Discord-channel for error-reporting.
- Do not report errors by making a discussion-thread, I get no notification of that.
- If you have the solution for a problem, please post it to the GitHub repository.
