Organized Research Tab Mod improves the layout of RimWorld’s research screen by reorganizing projects based on their dependencies, making large modded research trees easier to navigate and understand.
Organized Research Tab Mod Features
The Organized Research Tab Mod restructures the research interface to prevent clutter caused by multiple mods adding new projects. Instead of a chaotic layout, research nodes are arranged in a more logical and readable format.
Dependency-based layout
Research projects are organized into vertical layers based on their prerequisites. Each column represents a progression level, ensuring that technologies always appear to the right of the projects they depend on. This creates a clear visual flow of progression.
Improved readability
Within each layer, projects are sorted to minimize crossing dependency lines. This reduces visual noise and avoids the “spaghetti” effect often seen in heavily modded research trees.
Cleaner research tab
By restructuring the layout, the Organized Research Tab Mod removes the need for additional tools like vertical scrollbars, as projects are presented in a more structured and accessible way.
FAQ
Does it work with vertical scrollbar mods?
No. With this mod, a vertical scrollbar is no longer necessary due to the improved layout.
