Personality Traits Mod adds several new personality traits to RimWorld, each with distinct effects on mood, learning, passions, expectations, mental breaks, social behavior, and pawn performance.
Personality Traits Mod Features
- Competitive: Grants +75% global learning speed. Pawns receive a -8 mood debuff if their total skill value is lower than that of any other colonist, or a +12 mood buff if their total skill value is the highest in the colony when there are more than two colonists.
- Fickle: Changes the pawn’s passion occasionally, with an average interval of once every 40 days.
- Tsundere: Makes pawns more likely to slight and insult someone they like, and less likely to slight and insult someone they hate. They behave normally toward spouses, fiances, and lovers. Also reduces pawn market value by 10%.
- Determinist: For version 1.2 and above. Once every 40 days on average, the pawn has a chance to trigger a divination event that randomly changes their expectations, ranging from extremely low to sky high, independent of colony wealth. After the event, the pawn receives -35% global work speed with extremely low expectations, -20% with very low expectations, +20% with high expectations, or +35% with sky high expectations. With the Royalty DLC, pawns with the royal title of Acolyte or above will stop having divination events and will eventually return to normal expectation behavior.
- Repressive: For version 1.2 and above. When a minor or major mental break triggers, the pawn ignores it and receives a -5 mood penalty called Frustration, which lasts 60 days and stacks up to 10 times. When an extreme mental break triggers, the pawn is guaranteed to go catatonic and all Frustration stacks are removed.
- Motivated: For version 1.4 and above. While the pawn is inspired, they receive a +20 mood buff.
- Vehement: For version 1.4 and above. Grants complete immunity to arrest and damage during mental breaks. This only applies to player colonists for balance reasons. It also grants invisibility during mental breaks so the AI recognizes the pawn’s immunity.
