mlieMountain Temp Mod adjusts underground temperature behavior by stabilizing rooms with natural roofs, simulating the more constant temperatures found beneath the planet’s surface.
This mod moves the temperature of rooms with any portion of natural roof toward a configurable target: seasonal average, annual average, or a fixed temperature. The thicker and more extensive the natural roof, the stronger the stabilizing effect. However, extreme outdoor temperatures can still influence deep rooms through open passageways, so complete isolation is not guaranteed.

- Underground temperature stabilization: Rooms with natural roofs trend toward a chosen average or fixed temperature.
- Roof thickness impact: Greater natural roof coverage increases the stabilization effect.
- Configurable temperature mode: Choose between seasonal average, annual average, or a fixed temperature.
- Ignores embrasure/fence rooms: Rooms defined by embrasures or fences are excluded.
- Update speed setting: Adjust how quickly temperature stabilization is applied.
