More Autosave Slots Mod Features
The More Autosave Slots Mod gives you more control over periodic saving. By default, RimWorld uses 5 autosave file names, from Autosave-1 to Autosave-5, but this mod lets you increase or decrease that number to better fit your needs, even down to a single autosave file.
The More Autosave Slots Mod also adds a more descriptive naming scheme for autosaves, which is useful if you regularly play more than one colony or if multiple people use the same account. You can edit the naming scheme, use the current date and time, and avoid overwriting previous saves entirely.
You can also adjust how often the game autosaves, including very specific intervals if desired.
- More autosave slots: Increase or decrease the number of autosave files used by RimWorld.
- Custom autosave names: Edit the autosave naming scheme to make files easier to identify.
- Date and time support: Use the current date and time in autosave names to avoid overwriting files.
- Game seed support: Use the game seed as a possible save-name parameter.
- Manual save naming: Optionally use the autosave naming scheme for manual saves.
- Configurable autosave frequency: Choose how often the game creates autosaves.
