The Monstrous Compendium Mod adds various new creatures and incidents to RimWorld, including mythical beasts, dangerous monsters, tameable creatures, and hostile Illithid raids.
Monstrous Compendium Mod Features
- Adds several new creatures and incidents.
- Some creatures can be tamed.
- Some creatures have ranged attacks when used with the RangeAnimalFramework Mod.
- Adds Illithids as a hostile faction-like threat, similar to mechanoids.
Added creatures
- Giant beetle: Lives on trees and is docile, so it can be tamed easily.
- Fire beetle: Often lives in rocky desert regions and can spit fire.
- Gryphon: Fast, strong, hard to tame, smart enough to help humans, and expensive.
- Hydra: Has five heads and venomous teeth, and lives in jungles or swamps. Unfortunately, due to the creator’s short programming skill, they cannot regenerate their heads.
- Black pudding: Consumes everything near it, can slow down its prey, and is dumb.
- Purple worm: Similar to the death worm of other fictions. Carnivorous. Strong. Nice.
- Deviljho: Ya, correct. that guy of monster hunter series. sometimes a Hungry deviljho can roam around your house. Hang in there.
- Illithid: Fortunately are not wild animals. They are a kind of faction, like mechanoids. Sometimes Illithids visit your base to melt your brain. Be careful, and prepare expert melee fighters before regret. :D As they are real CR 7 monsters.
