Misc. Craftable Robots Addon Features
The Misc. Craftable Robots Addon Mod tweaks and extends the parent mod with the following improvements:
General changes
- Removed redundant assemblies.
- Ensures all Misc robots have level 20 skills, even when using Biotech.
- All bots use the same crafting recipe as the main mod: 150 Steel, 30 Plasteel, 100 Gold and 5 Components.
Improved existing bots
- Gardener Bot: Can now perform cooking jobs, increased work speed, Cooking skill set to 20.
- Crafting Bot: Can now perform art jobs, increased work speed, Intellectual skill set to 20.
- Hauler Bot: Increased carry capacity and 5x move speed for optimized hauling.
- Mining, Cleaner and Construction Bots: Increased work and move speed. Construction Bot hauls more materials per trip to blueprints.
New robot types
- ER Bot: Can tend wounds, perform surgeries and fight fires. If Questionable Ethics Enhanced is loaded, it also performs Vat Maintaining jobs.
- Analysis Bot: Handles research and scanner operation. If What the hack?! is loaded, it performs hacking jobs. If Preemptive Strike (v1.1 Fork) is loaded, it performs recon jobs.
Robots for specific mods
- Atomic Bot: For Rimatomics (nuclear jobs).
- Fisher Bot: For Vanilla Fishing Expanded (fishing jobs).
- Beekeeper Bot: For RimBees (beekeeping jobs).
These robots will only appear if their respective mods are active in your mod list.
Visuals
The textures for the new bots are recolors of the original mod’s robots with minor tweaks.
For improved visuals, consider using Misc. Craftable Robots Retexture by gloriousyuri.
Compatibility notes
- Dependencies: Requires Misc Robots and Misc Craftable Robots. Load after both.
- QualitySurgeon: ER Bots will not perform surgery if this mod is active.
- Development status: Currently not actively maintained as the author is taking a break from RimWorld modding.
Support and troubleshooting
- Test whether the issue persists with only the Misc. Craftable Robots Addon Mod (and required mods) enabled.
- If it disappears, re-enable other mods gradually until the issue returns.
- Always share your log using the Log Uploader.
- For support, use the Discord channel for error reporting (discussion threads may be missed).
- If you find a fix, share it on the GitHub repository.
- Use RimSort to sort your mods.
