mlieLaptop Battery Status Mod displays your device’s battery level directly in-game, helping you avoid losing progress by warning you before your laptop runs out of power. It includes customizable color indicators, charging status visuals, and an optional autosave feature when battery levels drop below a defined threshold.
Laptop Battery Status Features
- Battery indicator: Shows your current laptop battery percentage while playing.
- Dynamic colors: Changes color based on remaining battery percentage, with customizable thresholds.
- Charging status: Displays different colors depending on whether the battery is charging or fully charged.
- Autosave feature: Automatically saves the game when battery drops below a set percentage, using the filename “Battery at X%”.
- No battery support: Displays “No battery” when used on devices without a battery.
- SteamDeck compatibility: Uses Linux sysfs data for accurate battery readings on SteamOS devices.
Compatibility notes
This mod relies on Unity’s built-in battery functions, which may not provide accurate readings on all platforms. On SteamDeck (SteamOS), it uses Linux kernel sysfs data instead for improved accuracy.
