The Ghosts Mod introduces tribal ghosts. These will (rarely) spawn in tribal colonies at the start of the game. Ghosts are semitransparent and skeletal. They do not rest, rarely eat (maybe once every thousand days), and care little for the concerns of mortal life (such as public nudity, colonists dying, greed, jealousy, pain, or imprisonment). Ghosts do, however, care that the place they haunt is well cared for and in good condition.
Future Goals for the Ghosts Mod

- Walk through walls.
- Semi-transparent clothing.
- Persistent semi-transparency: Currently using Prepare Carefully or the Change Dresser mods to change a ghost’s “skin” or hair color will remove the transparency. Most likely this will require some C# code to implement.
- Transform living colonists into ghosts: This is a very tricky one and will undoubtedly require some C# code. I’m thinking of adding a bill to the grave that would accomplish this, but I still need the code to make it happen.
The Ghosts Mod introduces a very interesting concept for a new race: undead tribal pawns! Filling your colony with ghosts can be quite unsettling, but it guaranteed to be a fun gameplay.
