mlieFeng Shui Mod allows players to adjust how RimWorld evaluates rooms by modifying the scoring system behind key room characteristics. Using mod options, you can tweak how impressiveness, wealth, space, beauty, and cleanliness are calculated, giving you more control over how rooms are judged in your colony.
Feng Shui Features
The Feng Shui Mod lets you customize the statistical lookup tables used by RimWorld to determine room quality. This makes it possible to rebalance how rooms are evaluated without directly changing the rooms themselves.
Adjustable Room Scoring
- Impressiveness: Modify how the game evaluates overall room impressiveness.
- Wealth: Adjust the impact of wealth on room scoring.
- Space: Change how spaciousness affects room evaluation.
- Beauty: Modify how beauty contributes to room quality.
- Cleanliness: Adjust the cleanliness thresholds used for room scoring.
Flexible Percentage Scaling
- Customizable values: Each room stat can be scaled from 50% to 200%, with 100% representing vanilla RimWorld values.
- Example behavior: Setting space to 200% effectively halves the requirements used in comparisons, making rooms appear more spacious while keeping the base score unchanged.
Compatibility notes
- Can be safely added to or removed from existing saves.
- Mods that also modify room scoring values may stack with this mod and compound the effects.
- Changing mod settings requires restarting RimWorld for the changes to take effect.
- Available translations: Traditional Chinese, German, Japanese.
