Everyone is Queer Mod Features
The Everyone is Queer Mod makes all colonists queer, allowing anyone to romance anyone regardless of gender.
- Gender-neutral romance: Colonists can be romantically interested in other colonists regardless of gender.
- Existing attraction factors preserved: Age, shared traits, and other vanilla factors still affect whether one colonist is interested in another.
- Adjusted age preferences: The mod widens and equalizes age ranges for romance interest, removing the vanilla gendered age preference differences.
- Removed Gay trait: Colonists no longer need a specific Gay trait, since same-gender romance is available to everyone.
- Removed Bisexual trait: The Bisexual trait was removed because it became redundant.
- Reduced gendered behavior: The mod removes some gendered romance behavior, such as men being more likely to propose.
Clarification about ages
With the Everyone is Queer Mod, colonists prefer people within 7 years of their age and may accept anyone up to 30 years older or younger, with the probability declining as the age gap increases.
Young colonists are excluded from romance, following the same basic logic as the unmodded game.
In vanilla RimWorld, women prefer men from 10 years older to 3 years younger, and may accept men up to 30 years older or 10 years younger. Men prefer women their own age to 10 years younger, and may accept women up to 30 years younger or 10 years older.
Compatibility notes
The comment section of the Everyone is Queer Mod is intended for bug reports, balance issues, and general feedback about the mod. Comments that are not useful for development or curation may be removed.
