The mod works by hooking into the deterioration function and restoring the item’s HP to maximum whenever deterioration occurs.
Bullets and other direct attacks can still damage clothing. Damaged apparel will be repaired again during the next degradation tick, which occurs randomly about once per in-game day.
Compatibility notes
The original version required HugsLib for patching C# methods, but this updated version removes the HugsLib dependency.
When troubleshooting the Durable Clothes Mod:
