mlieThe Decorative Trees Mod adds two unusual decorative trees that can only be grown in a special decorative tree pot. These trees are designed for interior decoration, with one producing silver over time and the other allowing colonists to prepare a party.
Decorative Trees Mod Features
- Decorative tree pot: A pot filled with special alien soil, suitable only for growing specially modified trees. It is too expensive and unsuitable for regular plants, but its small size allows trees to grow indoors under a roof.
- Silver tree: An unusual decorative tree that increases beauty and produces about 100 silver during its lifetime. After harvesting, the tree becomes small again and does not require a new stalk.
- Party tree: A soft fir tree with a pleasant smell that can decorate interiors. Once it has grown enough, you can select a colonist and order them to decorate it to throw a party.
Decorative tree stalks can be bought from Exotic Traders and sometimes from Bulk Goods Traders, but they are very expensive. Growing decorative trees requires a technology learned in the Neolithic era.
The Decorative Trees Mod can be used with or without seeds. The author recommends using the SeedsPlease Mod, but it is optional.
Party trees require colonist work to prepare. Decorating the fir tree takes about 4 hours, and a party cannot be thrown while a bad event is active.
The seed extractor workshop has been redrawn. Decorative tree stalks cannot be crafted, as this is considered very difficult technology.

Compatibility notes
The Decorative Trees Mod should work without issues with other mods. If you find compatibility problems, report them so they may be fixed.
The mod was tested with the Hardcore SK Mod pack and worked correctly.
