mlieCrystalBall Mod adds a crystal ball table that lets pawns scry into the future, revealing upcoming incidents so your colony can prepare before raids, visitors or other events arrive.
CrystalBall Mod Features

How to use CrystalBall Mod
- Create a Crystal Ball Table from the Production tab. The ball is made out of Jade, so you will need that resource.
- Assign a colonist to the Scry work type.
- Colonists will use the crystal ball to peer into the future and reveal upcoming events.
Technical details
- CrystalBall Mod can predict future incidents because it delays them by a random interval.
- Incident changes only begin once you have created and used a crystal ball for the first time.
- Random delays mean multiple bad incidents can still happen on the same day, but you may know about them ahead of time.
- CrystalBall Mod does not affect Storytellers. The Storyteller is told that it is still on its normal schedule, so it should behave normally.
- CrystalBall Mod no longer delays incidents connected to quests.
Compatibility notes
CrystalBall Mod may have compatibility issues with other mods that change how incidents are triggered.
CrystalBall Mod can be added to an existing save. If removed, missing stuff errors will be thrown, but it probably will not break anything.
When troubleshooting CrystalBall Mod:
- See if the error persists with only this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
- Always post your log using the Log Uploader.
- For best support, please use the Discord channel for error reporting.
- Do not report errors by making a discussion thread, as the author gets no notification of that.
