Compact Work Tab Mod improves the readability of RimWorld’s Work tab by rotating or vertically orienting column headers, making crowded job lists easier to manage on smaller screens or in heavily modded setups. It also adds mouse wheel support for adjusting work priorities directly from the tab.
Compact Work Tab Mod Features
- Compact column headers: Rotates Work tab column headers by 60° to make more work types fit on screen.
- Vertical header option: Includes an alternative vertical layout that keeps letters horizontal, especially useful for fixed-width characters such as Chinese.
- Scroll wheel priority control: Lets you raise or lower work priorities by hovering over a priority box and scrolling.
- Manual priority support: If manual priorities are disabled, scrolling toggles the selected work type. If manual priorities are enabled, scrolling adjusts the priority level up or down.
- Settings menu support: All options can be configured through RimWorld’s mod settings menu.
- Translation support: Adds support for translated text.
- Source code available: Full source code is published on GitHub under the MIT license.
Compatibility notes
This mod is compatible with mods that add new work types to the game.
It has been tested and found compatible with Numbers Mod, Priority Master Mod, and Grouped Pawns Lists Mod.
It is technically compatible with Fluffy’s Work Tab Mod, but running both at the same time will cause Fluffy’s mod to override this mod’s functionality, so using both together is not recommended.
