Comigo’s Nutrition Mod

Author of the Comigo’s Nutrition Mod: mlie

Comigo’s Nutrition Mod adds a collection of smaller, more efficient cooking stations, brewing equipment, and nutrient paste dispensers for RimWorld. Designed especially for spaceships and compact bases, this mod introduces new buildings through its own research projects rather than replacing the vanilla workbenches.

Comigo’s Nutrition Mod Features

This update of Comigo’s Nutrition Mod includes the Chinese translation by MZM_GOW.

Comigo’s Nutrition Mod adds a new research tab with separate and relatively inexpensive research projects that unlock each compact nutrition-related building.

  • Smaller electric stove: Costs 75 steel and 3 components. Requires the “Compact cooking stoves” research, which requires Electricity. It has no penalties and can cook all vanilla recipes.
  • Smaller butcher table: Costs 65 metallic or woody material and 25 steel. Requires the “Smaller butcher table” research, which requires Smithing. It allows butchering animals and humanlikes and making kibble. Because it is less comfortable than the full-sized bench, it works at 75% speed.
  • Cutting board: Costs 30 metallic, stony, or woody material plus 20 steel. Requires the “Cutting board” research. It is intended for caravans and early game use, weighs only 5 kg, is more effective than a butcher spot, but still works slowly at 65% speed and has 90% efficiency. It can be placed on tables.
  • Portable chemfuel stove: Costs 50 steel, 1 component, and 25 chemfuel. Requires the “Portable chemfuel stove” research. It is an alternative to a fueled stove, can be transported easily, allows cooking simple and fine meals, and can be placed on tables.
  • Smaller brewery: Costs 75 wood, 50 steel, and 1 component. Requires the “Small brewery” research, which requires Beer Brewing. It is a smaller version of the brewery for making wort and operates at 75% work speed.
  • Compact nutrient paste dispenser: Costs 70 steel and 5 components. Requires the “Compact paste dispenser” research, which requires Microelectronics and the regular paste dispenser research. This 2×2 version works the same way as the vanilla dispenser.
  • In-wall nutrient paste dispenser: Costs 30 steel and 4 components. Requires the “In-wall dispensers” research, which depends on “Compact paste dispenser”. This 1×1 version uses 8 ingredients per meal instead of 6, requires only 75W, and is ideal for mass placement, such as in prison cells.
  • Advanced nutrient paste dispenser: Costs 100 steel, 100 plasteel, 4 components, and 8 advanced components. Requires the “Advanced paste dispensers” research, which depends on “Compact paste dispenser”. This 3×3 dispenser is more efficient than vanilla, using only 5 ingredients per meal, and requires 1200W to operate.
  • Nutrient archodispenser: An ancient artifact that cannot be built normally and can only be found as a quest reward or, very rarely, as a trader item. It drains 3600W from the power grid and produces nutrient paste meals with maximum efficiency, using just 4 ingredients per meal.

Compatibility notes

Comigo’s Nutrition Mod should be compatible with almost everything, as it is a purely XML and graphical mod.
