mlieColonists’ Deco Mod lets colonists decorate their bedrooms with different kinds of decorative items, gaining construction experience in the process and unlocking new decoration levels through research.
Colonists’ Deco Mod Features
The Colonists’ Deco Mod adds automated bedroom decoration, allowing colonists to personalize their rooms with decorative objects.
- Bedroom decorations: Colonists can decorate their bedrooms with different kinds of decorations.
- Construction experience: Decorating rooms levels up the colonist’s construction skill.
- Researchable decoration levels: Decoration levels can be researched, with each research level reflecting a different tech level.
- Room-specific decorations: Adds decorations designed for specific rooms.
- Customisable decorations: Includes support for decorations that can be customised.
- Random poster images: Adds random poster images as part of the decoration system.
- More placeable items: Adds additional decorative items that can be placed.
- Decoration preview: Adds a UI button to preview decorations in full size.
- End-table support: Should support more end-tables, as long as they do not already have a lamp on them.
The Colonists’ Deco Mod was re-released using only Asset Bundles after RimWorld 1.6 added improved support for them, avoiding a doubled mod size.
Compatibility notes
Camera+ Mod is recommended if you want to see the decorations in detail.
