The Cleaning Priority Mod allows you to control how colonists prioritize cleaning by assigning different priority levels to specific areas, ensuring important zones like hospitals are cleaned first.
Cleaning Priority Mod Features
- Priority cleaning: Assign priority levels to different areas so colonists clean important zones before lower priority ones.
- Flexible area control: Replace the default home area with custom zones and define your own cleaning order.
- Vanilla-friendly behavior: If no priorities are set, colonists clean normally using the default home area.
- Smart task handling: Pawns clean lower priority zones if they are not allowed in higher priority ones.
- Filth reservation system: Prevents multiple pawns from cleaning the same dirt simultaneously.
Additional details
- There is a short delay before newly spawned filth is cleaned, matching vanilla behavior (approximately 600 ticks).
- The mod does not override original game methods, preserving compatibility with systems that track home area filth.
- At least one cleaning area is always required; if all are removed, the home area is automatically restored.
- Safe to remove, though minor errors may appear and can be resolved by re-saving the game.
- Includes Russian translation by Vladimir Saenko.
Compatibility notes
- Soft incompatibility with Dubs Bad Hygiene Mod: pawns may clean outside designated zones. Disable “prefer indoor cleaning” in its settings to fix this.
- May conflict with other cleaning-related mods. Test combinations if unsure.
- This is an early/unstable version; minor bugs may occur.
