mlieThe Caravan Equipment Mod adds lightweight caravan equipment designed for players who use temporary camp setups, especially with Set Up Camp. It gives caravans access to portable-style structures such as beds, workbenches, temperature control, and defensive equipment.
Caravan Equipment Mod Features
The Caravan Equipment Mod is aimed at larger caravans that need better survival tools when resting, recovering from disease, or setting up temporary camps.
- Light alloy: Adds a new manufactured resource made from steel and plasteel.
- Caravan furniture: Adds lightweight tables, chairs, and hospital beds for caravan use.
- Caravan work facilities: Adds a light alloy workbench.
- Caravan defense: Adds a light alloy mini-turret.
- Caravan power: Adds a light alloy wood-fired generator with a built-in battery.
- Temperature control: Adds a light alloy cooler and heater.

The Caravan Equipment Mod includes source files, is translation-ready, and has no dependencies such as Harmony or HugsLib.
Compatibility notes
The Caravan Equipment Mod can safely be added to an existing game.
Before removing the Caravan Equipment Mod from an existing game, make sure all structures from the mod have been destroyed, no research from the mod is in progress, no new structures from the mod are being ordered, all Light Alloys and unfinished Light Alloys have been destroyed, no minified structures from the mod remain, and no caravans are carrying items from the mod.
The Caravan Equipment Mod has support for Simple FX: Smoke.
The Caravan Equipment Mod is recommended for use with Set Up Camp to make the most out of it, though it is not required. It can also be used with Camping Stuff.
When troubleshooting the Caravan Equipment Mod:
- See if the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
