mlieThe Bargain Tweaks Mod changes how trader prices work by making traders prefer some goods over others. Each item receives a random price multiplier between 0.6 and 1.4 by default, and the range can be configured. The Bargain Tweaks Mod also includes an advanced mode for changing how bargain prices are calculated.
Bargain Tweaks Mod Features
- Every item has a random trader price multiplier, configurable between 0.6 and 1.4 by default.
- Advanced mode allows you to customize how bargain prices are calculated.
- Adds a balance modifier instead of simply choosing the selling price from the minimum between buying and selling prices, as vanilla does.
- The balance modifier depends on the difference between buying and selling price modifiers, helping prevent pawns with lower negotiation skill from selling items for higher prices than pawns with better negotiation skill.
- The “trader demand modifier” now depends on the “trader type price” modifier. The higher the trader type modifier, the lower the trader demand modifier effect.
Compatibility notes
The Bargain Tweaks Mod should be compatible with other mods that do not change the trading screen. It does not require a new save and can be safely removed from existing saves.
When troubleshooting the Bargain Tweaks Mod:
- See if the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
- If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
- Always post your log using the Log Uploader.
