Archotech+ Mod is a lightweight expansion that adds four new archotech implants as quest or task rewards. These implants are designed to stay balanced with the vanilla and Royalty implants — powerful, but not overpowered. Pawns can self-install them with zero failure chance, perfect for solo runs, though once installed, they cannot be removed.
Archotech+ Mod Features
- New Archotech Implants: Four new implants rewarded from quests or traders, balanced to match vanilla gameplay.
- Self-Installation: Any pawn can install implants without failure risk.
- Expanded Subdermal Armor: Now includes three levels of upgrades for better defense.
- Bug Fixes: Numerous issues corrected, making more implant info available in-game.
- Optional De-Aging: You can now disable the De-Aging feature in the settings.
- Harmony Requirement: Now listed as required dependency (from version 1.3 onwards).
Q&A
- How do I get these items? Through quests or exotic merchants — though they are quite expensive.
- What does the regenerator heal? At level 2 or 3, it regenerates missing body parts, heals scars, permanent injuries, and age-related conditions like Bad Back or Frail. It won’t cure diseases like malaria, flu, or gut worms.
- If my pawn has a bionic arm that gets chopped off, will it regenerate a bionic arm? No, it regenerates a normal arm.
- How can I know if the regenerator will resurrect my pawn? A green/blue mist appears over the body, and nearby plants die in a 2–4 tile radius.
- Can I bury a pawn that hasn’t regenerated yet? Yes. The pawn will burst out of the grave when resurrected.
Compatibility notes
Save Compatibility: Compatible with all existing saves.
Known Issues:
- If a corpse awaiting resurrection is moved off-map (e.g., into a caravan), it will not resurrect.
- When using a 2560×1440 resolution, it may be impossible to select exactly 7 days in the settings menu when setting healing or resurrection range.
