mlieA Petition for Provisions Mod lets you request specific items from non-hostile factions through the comms console, sending their caravans to your colony instead of forcing your colonists to travel. This update of ToyWalruss’ mod fixes several long-standing issues, improves item availability and filters, adds interface improvements, and includes updated translations.
A Petition for Provisions Features
The A Petition for Provisions Mod allows you to contact non-hostile factions and place direct item requests through the comms console. Requested goods are delivered by that faction’s caravan, with prices increasing based on distance and other factors.
How it works
To make a request, you must first build a comms console. Once installed, you can call a non-hostile faction the same way you would request military aid or a trade caravan.
The option to request a specific item appears alongside the other faction interaction options. You may only have one open request per faction at a time, but you can maintain active requests with multiple factions simultaneously.
Notable features
- Request items directly from non-hostile factions.
- Prices increase depending on how far the faction’s colony is from yours.

- Tooltip added for currently petitioned caravans.
- Stuff filter now works correctly.

The A Petition for Provisions Mod keeps the original tongue-in-cheek tone of turning the tables on other factions: instead of your colonists risking their necks to haul goods across the Rim, now they can stay home while someone else makes the dangerous trip.
Do keep in mind that if a caravan arrives and you cannot pay for the order, the visiting faction may not take that very well.
